#ForOurOwn is a movement initiated by JOON Festival. With this movement we want to bring everyone together during these difficult times. JOON Festival is working with various artists from all around the world to bring joy into your lives through some music, even if it's for a brief moment. Aim of this movement is to help our own people around the world who needs it the most during these tough times. We are partnering with two great organisations BLINKNOW and MERGING NEPSOCS, who are working relentlessly to help our own who have been adversely impacted by the corona virus pandemic.
NYANO SWAGAT (Welcome Home) is a movement initiated by BLINKNOW (Maggie Doyne) to help our fellow Nepalese who are stuck in Nepal-India border. NYANO SWAGAT has already helped thousands of people by providing medication, food, accommodation and general support.
MERGING NEP SOCS are helping over 400 Nepali International students in need of urgent help. They are facing financial and social difficulties as result of the global pandemic. Merging NepSocs has been nominated by Government of Nepal and Embassy of Nepal for the UK to help International Students in the UK.
