Jono's Fight for his mates
Donation protected
I served in the first battalion between 2002 and 2008, it was a short stint however I still experienced some of the most mentally challenging moments of my life. Fortunately or unfortunately depending how you look at it I didn't get to go on operations in a war torn country... but a lot of my very close mates and fellow diggers did and still are. What these brave men and women endure for their country is more than most of us could even imagine and far too often as a result the mental wounds are irreparable.
“Mates4Mates supports our wounded, injured or ill current and ex-serving Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel and their families who are wounded, injured or ill as a result of their service. Mates4Mates is recognised nationally for providing the most progressive, integrated support programs in the country, which help rebuild and save lives. Funds raised will be kept local and allocated to The Family recovery centre located right her in Townsville”
It will be an absolute pleasure to step into the ring in October this year and fight for a cause that is truly close to my heart and any support would be greatly appreciated.
