Jonathan, AKA Jon Jon, was just a toddler when he was first diagnosed with Leukemia. With his family and friends by his side he kicked cancer's butt.
Now, at 9 years old, the Leukemia has returned.
Jon is a smart, compassionate, fun loving and amazing kid. He is currently at Miller Children's Hospital in Long Beach, with a brave face, ready to kick cancer's butt once again.
The funds raised through this page will help The Small Family cover many of the unfortunate and unexpected expenses they encounter during this second fight against Leukemia.
Jonathan's mother Denise is a preschool teacher at Brighter Beginnings. We have come together as a staff to help her and her family during this difficult time. Ms. Denise has had to take a leave of absense to care for her son while he is in the hospital for the next month, maybe more.
