Jonathan Garcia- unexpected horrific accident

Donation protected
One day you are on your last step to be enrolled into the Army, the next day, you are lying on a hospital bed, both legs amputated, fighting for your life. This is my son's story: Jonathan Garcia. My son, Jonathan Garcia, a 21-year-old who had just decided to serve in the army, was cut short of fulfilling his goal. I was excited & happy for him. We were working so hard to have everything completed. We had met with the sergeant; we worked on his GED. My baby had accomplished getting the GED. Jonathan and I were excited. We then went for him to take his ASVAB test {military exam, need 30 to pass}; Jonathan had scored a 50!!! Our next appointment was on February 15th for his physical. We never made it. On February 12th, @ 8:20 pm, my son was involved in a horrific accident. The car ignited on impact, and Jonathan unconsciously was trapped inside the burning vehicle. We are thankful for good samaritans that helped flip the car and did the impossible to help my son out of the burning car. Jonathan was life-flighted to Memorial Hermann Hospital. Immediately was taken into surgery as an artery/vessel from the brain to the heart had burst. Other severe injuries include: amputation of both legs, brain hit impact, broken nose, fractured pelvic, and many minor issues. Today, February 28th, Jonathan is still in the ICU, fighting for his life. My son is young and strong, and we believe he will come out of it. We decided to open a Go Fund Me account to help us with some costs and prepare and have everything ready when Jonathan comes home. With this help, we plan to get him his wheelchair, prosthetic legs, adjustable bed, construct a room needed for him, and many more necessities he will need. As of right now, his hospital bill is close to a million dollars. We are doing everything we can and working with the hospital to receive any financial help to help us with the bills. We are also going after the party at fault. My son's life has taken a 360 turn. Any support we receive will facilitate this new unwanted journey we encountered. Please share with family, extended family, co-workers. We thank you for all your prayers, calls, texts, and emails. This mother is in pain and needs help. God Bless every one of you.
