On Thursday morning, while Jon Oliver was crossing the street, he was struck by a vehicle. He suffered severe brain injuries and is fighting for his life at Scripps Memorial Hospital. Jon is a dedicated and supportive friend, and he has a noticeable imprint on the people he meets. Jon is strong, kind and genuine. He has worked hard in every aspect of his life with kindness and humility. Jon’s heartbreaking story and his fight for survival, impacts us all and I know most of you want to do anything to help. We don’t know what God’s plans are for Jon, but we do know that there is nobody stronger and more faithful than Jon. We know that Jon’s parents and family have put their lives on hold and are devoted to his recovery, whatever it takes.
