Spears Family Support Fund

My brother-in-law and his family have been successfully battling cancer this past year and while they have insurance through their small family owned business there are many medications, procedures and doctor visits which are not fully covered. They have somehow managed, up to this point, to pay most of the uncovered medical, their everyday living expenses and the day to day business expenses, but just barely. With their business being dependant on the weather - December was an unexpected set back. They now find themselves with a seemingly insurmountable payment, and fast approaching deadline, which will not only affect their ability to keep their health insurance so they may continue with follow up cancer care, but may now close their business which ends any possibility of covering everyday living expenses and the opportunity to dig their way out. They've been there for so many people, myself included, and they have made it through so much on their own. Cancer shouldn't win this fight, my brother-in-law physically beat it, but it shouldn't be allowed to take away their entire life - their home and their livelyhood. It's $10,000 they need by January 10th - maybe an insurmountable cost for one person, but maybe not for a number of people willing to put a little faith in a family they may not know.
