Help with dads funeral (Please)

Its my dads 65th birthday today.
He passed away last week suddenly, from a yet to be determined cause of death and today I'm planning his funeral with my mum. 

The people who have reached out and told me a story about John have held my heart together.
The stories are mostly the same- that he offered conversation, a listening ear and effortless humour - but that he was tired, gave so much and was ready to go.

To me - as an only child - he was one third of the best small gang.
Im 28 and I wasn't ready to loose my dad.

Effortlessly cool, my dad joked he didn't trust men in shorts and recorded music right up until a few weeks ago. 
A disability carer off and on his whole life and for the past 10 years, he, like my mum (a disability carer for the past 6 years), did not have a great amount of money saved for this.

As a full time performance artist and independent event producer, neither do I.

My dad gave me an immeasurable amount of love, practical guidance and the gift of comic timing. I want to give him a funeral that he might like and the costs associated with this process are a little overwhelming.
