John's New Leg with Independence

Hello,
It’s time for me find a way to be normal.
I was only 12 years old when I fell under a forklift and de-gloved my right leg (from the knee down). After 3 months in hospital and extensive skin grafts, with later operations to rebuild muscle in the lower leg, the leg became continually infected and ulcerated.
After 11 years of putting up with this it was either lose my life or have my leg amputated. I chose the second option. Of course.
After 20 years of living a life of continual ulcers and horrendous pain in my stump due to ‘ordinary’ false legs, my wife Chloe and two children Jad and Shanae have assisted me as much as they can.
2 weeks ago, I had a fall and landed on my stump and smashed my femur bone and its now time for me to move on due to medical advice and have an osseointegration inserted into my stump on the 3rd of January 2018.

But in order to do this there will be a monetary shortfall of approximately $50,000.00.
