Johnny Wheels Equipment Replacement

Donation protected
Saturday, March 10th, Johnny Wheels and the Swamp Donkeys played an amazing show at the Winter Bluesfest in Milwaukie. Good times, great show! On the drive home however, all of Johnny's harmonicas, microphones, and other necessary equipment flew from the van on I-5. Parts and pieces were gathered from the road, but unfortunately are unusable.

Johnny will not be deterred and will continue to live his passion; playing music and performing. However, without this equipment, he will not be able to put on the same, sound perfected show, that we are all accustom to. Friends are stepping forward with loaner equipment and he is digging through his closets bringing out not quite broken harmonicas, but the sound won't be the same . Johnny himself describes the four microphones that were destroyed as his children, very beloved and well cared for as they had been around since the 1940's.

The estimate to replace all that was damaged is $2000 and we are asking for your help. Ever little bit helps. $10 here, another $20 there and in no time, we will have accumulated enough to purchase replacement equipment.

Last thing, the sooner the funds are raised, the sooner Johnny will be back to playing the music as he dreams it up, and we all can enjoy the beautiful blues he creates.  Thanks in advance for your support!
