My name is Dan Williams, from Wimberley TX. I am a brother of John Williams. This "Go Fund Me" page is to help John rebuild his house and life after Hurricane Harvey.
John is a life-long Houstonian. He works as an electrician at the Houston Zoo. He’s helping put his daughter, Sydney, through college (she’s a Junior at Texas A&M). He’s quiet and generous, he’s a person of faith, and he loves our country. John’s a good guy.
This past weekend, John’s house was flooded by Hurricane Harvey. A foot of water destroyed floors, walls, much of his furniture, and many priceless personal items. John has started the task of tearing out and throwing away what has been destroyed, and fighting the mold and sewage and other contaminants. And John is scrambling to figure out his next steps. He says he’s overwhelmed!
John needs our help! This “Go Fund Me” effort is to help him begin getting back on his feet. The task of repairing his house will cost tens of thousands of dollars. We are trying to raise $12,000, as soon as possible, to help him kick-start the process of repairing his house and making it livable.
