My brother John had a seizure on January 8, 2018. Initially, they thought he had a stroke, but imaging diagnosed him with a 41mm tumor in the left temporal lobe of his brain. Surgery on January 9 was successful in removing 70% of the tumor. However, the diagnosis was glioblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer. John and his wife, Michelle, and their children Johnny (14) and Maggie, (12), are stunned and scared.
I know they will imminently have untold expenses from lost wages, treatment, etc. The doctors recommended 6 weeks of daily radiation, plus chemotherapy.
I'm asking for your help. John has been a passionate and devoted teacher for dozens of years. He and his family live in Colorado Springs, in a modest home and ANY additional expenses will cause significant financial strain. I am optimistic that we can raise enough funds to lessen at least a portion of the financial impact of this devastating cancer diagnosis. Would you please consider a donation to help them in their time of need? Any amount is appreciated. I am hoping to raise $5,000 this month.
