John S Nielsen Memorial Fund

Donation protected
In 1932 my father John S. Nielsen was born and, like he always said, "I was born right on the kitchen table".  My dad has always been there for us as we were growing up; he even made sure that we always had a roof over our heads even when we were grown and had to periodically go home to live when needed. He has always been most proudest of all his children for the way that we all looked out for him and my Mom in her time of need when she passed 7 years ago. My Dad, also known as John or as Jack by his side of the family, has been fighting his battle with congestive heart failure. Dad lost his battle today on January, 1, 2017. This man wanted to go home more than anything after being hospitalized for a couple of weeks following a pacemaker surgery to steady his heart. He was in great spirits at the end and we were all so proud to see him fight in rehab to come back as he did. But God had other plans for this gentle soul and that was to be reunited with his true love, my Mom. All the years I had seen him strugle through life: losing a son, losing a wife and struggling with his illnesses and always wondered how he did it. He was a good man who loved his family and would give you the shirt off his back. The loss deeply affects all of us and I hope that we can raise some funds for his final expenses.
God bless you all and thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
