John Ray Smith passed away Saturday March 23, 2019 at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, surrounded by family and friends. A visitation will be held at Quisenberry Funeral Home in Tonganoxie, KS on 3/27/2019 from 6pm-8pm, with a small graveside service being held on 3/28/2019 at 10am at Maple Grove Cemetery in Tonganoxie, KS.
For the last few months, our mother has been basically been living at his side in the hospital. In lieu of flowers, we would like to help her out with some of these costs. Our dad wished to have a simple funeral, but even that adds up quickly. We have had several calls, messages and emails asking about how to help out. Thank you all for your kind words and prayers during this difficult time. It means the world to the family.
