John needs a mobility scooter urgently

Hi...my exhusband is just 65 and has terminal cancer. Although he's my ex, we are still very good friends.

Sadly, during the night his mobility scooter was stolen and wrecked beyond repair.

Neither we nor our children are in a position to be able to afford to replace it.

He needs it to have some way of getting out or he's stuck in his flat 24/7 until someone can take him out.

We don't know how long he'll be with us, the doctors predict months but the idea of him stuck inside for months is awful.

The police have been informed but say there's not much they can do.

Sadly, it wasn't insured which I was unaware of.

I know times are hard for everyone but if you can help, even in a small way, it would help towards replacing it for him.

This morning he is a broken man, understandably, and has enough to worry about as it is.
