John Mollart Feeds Stoke

On Wednesday 3rd February we got the news we had been dreading from the hospital. Our father, 62 year old John Mollart had passed away from COVID-19.

Now is your chance to help feed the people of Stoke on Trent in our late fathers honour. Please come together and help those who need it the most.

Where will the money go?
COVID-19 has made the situation for a lot of families in Stoke unbearable. Money and food supplies are extremely low for many families.  Money donated will go directly on meals to feed families who need it. No staff costs, just food for families. We are feeding people in Stoke on Trent that are desperately short. These are proud people and no one should be left behind hungry in a pandemic.

This is not just for our father, but for the people of Stoke on Trent to come together. Those with, can help those without. This is a time for caring and giving for your fellow Stokies.

Anyone who knew our dad would absolutely know that he is a genuine and caring man. He will do literally anything for anyone, if he can do it, he will do it.

Our father showed love with gifts not words, this was always his way. Actions have always spoken louder than words. His continual theme would always be to pay the food bill for everyone. He would put the money in before anyone would have chance.

We can only have a very limited amount of people at our fathers funeral. We decided to move his donations to an online venture and link up with the PVFC/HUBB Foundation. They are already working to feed the people of Stoke who are desperately in need.

Please dig deep where possible and put a donation in to help feed the people of Stoke. This money goes directly into buying food for people who desperately need it. Single parents, out of work families, families in need will directly benefit from your donation.

We Are One
This is not about a football team, our father didn't care for football. He cared about people and in particular the people of our hometown. The charity operates from Vale Park which our dad overlooked for decades from his bedroom window, it seemed fitting to team up with a charity so local to us.

Funeral
My dads funeral is on Monday 1st March 2021 at 3pm, Carmountside. The funeral will be done by Tudor Davies Funeral Services . I will endeavour to keep this charity donation page going until the day after the funeral, unless the charity needs the money sooner.

Hobbies
My dad had two hobbies, cars and cars. He liked to buy, fix and then sell cars  - mostly for the fun of it, he was never too interested in money. He really loved banger racing, he wanted me to be a banger racer! Unfortunately I crashed the 50cc motorbike he got me when I was 8 and needed to have a ruptured spleen removed. I remember driving to the hospital, he couldn't help but slow down when we passed car forecourts. I always thought he was more upset about the banger racing not happening for me than my lack of spleen! He was a good man and great laugh, I miss him dearly.

This donations setup has helped to focus the mind on positive thoughts of my dad, so thank you everyone for any part you have played in this.
