Our friend Coach John Kessler was rushed to the hospital on Friday with a brain hemorrhage while coaching the Uni Girls team during the Regional playoffs. This is as serious as it sounds. He is likely to be in the hospital for a week or longer as he receives treatment and be required to recuperate at home for an extended period of time. Coach Kessler has never asked for help, but he and his family need our financial help now.
The Kesslers are looking at multiple financial needs:
* They will have significant out-of-pocket medical costs for the long hospitalization and ICU treatment (beyond what is covered by their insurance).
* Both John & his wife Hali won't be at work as teachers at University High
* They will have a loss of income from John's tutoring activities for an indefinite period of time.
