We are heartbroken to share that John Dowling passed away on March 21, 2026. His family is now facing not only the deep emotional loss of a devoted husband and father, but also urgent and overwhelming financial challenges.

John, former owner of Midas Muffler in Brantford, spent his life helping others. For decades, he gave whatever he could to support friends, neighbors, and even strangers—often going without himself so someone else could have what they needed. He was the sole provider for his family for many years, working tirelessly to care for those he loved.

In his final days, John faced a sudden and devastating health crisis, spending time in the Critical Care Unit in Brantford, where his family remained by his side through an incredibly difficult and uncertain time.

John did not have life insurance, savings, or any financial coverage in place. There are no funds set aside to help with funeral costs or the expenses now left behind, leaving his wife to carry this burden during an already unimaginable time of grief.

John was always there for his community. Now, we humbly ask for support for his family during this urgent time of need.
