John Dech Funeral Expenses

John Paul "J.P." Dech, of Knoxville, TN, passed away unexpectedly on April 30, from a heart attack due to complications of the Covid

John worked as a repair technician for multifunction devices in the East Tennessee area. He developed a connection to the world of Star Trek, first as an attendee and dealer, and later as a host of conventions. John was also a huge fan of the Tennessee Volunteers football team, and an avid chicken wing and beer connoisseur. John was always happy to help others in any way he could.

I was his friend for nearly 35 years and we consider him and his children family.

Due to his sudden death and because he left behind two teenage boys, we’re asking for help to cover his funeral expenses so that they aren’t burdened.
