John Dassenko Medical Expenses

On Thursday September 20, 2018 our dear brother-in-law John Dassenko suffered a torn aorta.  Despite the 25% survival rate, he was taken to Fargo where he underwent 2 surgeries within 12 hours.   They did an aorta dissection and bypass during the 1st surgery, then had to go back in and clear out clots around the heart.   He has also suffered 2 strokes.  He was admitted into the ICU and has remained there due to complications they have run into.  There is no long term prognosis yet, so he will remain in the ICU as he continues to undergo treatments.   His wife Kim has been by his side since he went in, missing work for almost 2 weeks now.   Her kids have been driving back and forth from Wahpeton, putting on many miles and missing some work themselves.  As many have asked what they can do to help, we are setting up this page to help defray the medical and other expenses the family has and will continue to incur.  John has so many prayer chains going for him which is definitely helping him fight this battle.   Please continue to send prayers for him and his family.  Thank you for any help, God Bless you all <3
