Please help John Cudden & his family by donating

We are Angelo and Debbie DiLeo.  Angelo and John grew up together in Addison, and they were the best of friends.  We had great trips camping, wonderful home cooked meals and cookouts by John and Jen's house and he was even the best man in our wedding.  John and Jen and the kids are very dear to us and we are hoping to help find support needed to help them through the challenges that may lie ahead.

On November 18th I received a message from Jen informing me that John was in a horrible car accident.  He had several broken ribs, internal bleeding, a torn aorta and broken pelvis. She was unsure if he would pull through but felt hopeful. She had just asked for prayers that he would heal and stay strong.  Due to COVID restrictions, she has only seen John one time and has not been able to be by his side since.

Jen and the kids have put together 7 hours of John’s favorite music for him to listen to at the hospital during his healing process, they are putting together slide show of photos and continuously request prayers.

Currently he has had 2 successful surgeries to address the internal bleeding and the torn aorta and is being cared for at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.

This past Saturday John was doing well and they were going to remove his chest tube and wean him off the ventilator. He was communicating by nodding yes and no, which brought a great sense of relief to Jen and the kids. He still is in need of a full hip replacement which was scheduled to be done at the beginning of this week but unfortunately John’s blood pressure dropped and he had complications
breathing.

Today is December 1st, we have been informed that John is on the ventilator and it is doing 100% of the breathing for him.

The cost of medical bills that they will endure will be devastating. Any amount that you can provide to support John, Jen and his 5 beautiful children is greatly appreciated.
