John and Faunah Burns

For those of you who know the Burns family you know what a sweet, caring, and giving family they are.
What you may not know is that Faunah was diagnosed with a brain tumor in her frontal lobe. They have been watching it for some time but it has grown and requires immediate surgery.  This surgery is scheduled for January 18. 

We have known Faunah since she was a little girl growing up in our church.  She spent a lot of time in our home with our three daughters (Brandi, Kristine, and Kim)   in Santa Cruz, California.  Those were wonderful years.  When we look back at her teenage years there was never a dull moment.  She is very funny  and has a tremendous quick wit about her. 

Now time has passed and John and Faunah have  four wonderful children. These two young girls and two boys are a chip off of that old block.  They are good kids. Their names are:

Jack-8
Jenna-6
Brian-3

John and Faunah will be leaving  their young children in the very capable hands of Johns parents while they travel to Los Angeles for that surgery.   During that surgery the tumor will be removed and tested for cancer.  We are praying and have high hopes that it will be benign despite the doctors earlier prognosis..

As you know, we are trying to raise money to help them with all their medical bills, traveling expenses that continue to accumulate and will continue to accumulate in the months to come.  If you could find it in your heart, to give towards this young mom, it is money well spent and I know that they will be eternally grateful.  Please keep them in your hearts and prayers.
