Johanna Gordon-Walker Wharf Rebuild

Donation protected
Our beloved Johanna "Yoey" Gordon-Walker lost access to her home in a devastating freak windstorm on Tuesday, April 10, 2018.  Her entire wharf system was turned upside down and thrown about so that she can no longer access her house or property.  Yoey has spent the better part of the past 5 years creating a safe and accessible way to access her well-cared for home and property, and what makes this even more heartbreaking is that Yoey gives tirelessly to her community as the SEAS teacher at the Bella Bella Community School and a longstanding volunteer for numerous community initiatives.  Yoey is a giver, a do-er and -  most of all -  one of the kindest souls to those most fortunate know her.

We are creating this fundraiser to help Yoey so that she can rebuild and spend less time having to slowly repair what she can afford to rehabilitate while spending more time with the kids she adores and who equally adore her.   Whatever you can give will be most appreciated, and we will also be working with her to see that her wharf is built stronger than ever and can meet future unexpected weather phenomenons.

Thank you in advance for showing your love and helping Yoey get her life back.

We love you, Yoey!
