Walczak Creek Fire Devastation- Lost Home
Donation protected
Yesterday, our Lead installer of Comfort Now and dear friend lost his home. (The picture above is where his home was.) His home was lost due to the devasting fires near Shaver lake.
Joey is one of the hardest working people I have ever met. He drives over 4 hours to/ from work each day. In addition to working for Comfort Now, he also is an extremely skilled mason and carpenter. In his free time he works on tile and carpentry jobs in his community. His dedication and hard work made his dreams possible. He purchased his forever home recently and pored his heart into remodeling it by hand. His home was the reward of a lot of blood, sweat and tears. He not only lost his home, all his possessions, but his tools he has been collecting for over 10 years for his mason/carpentry work.
Joey would give the shirt off his back to help anyone. He is such a giving and caring person. Without a place to live, for his father and he, Joey will need serious help. Though he would never ask for it, this is the time for the community to help out those truly in need. I ask for your help, no matter how small, it all adds up.
We also ask for prayers for his moms home which is also in jeopardy of being lost in the fire.
Thank you!
