Joe's Story
We are raising money for Joe Popp, a devoted husband, father of three young men, youngest Popp brother, and loving dog owner. Most of you already know what a tremendous person he is, but in case you do not, I am going to tell you about him. He has worked hard his entire life and is a rock for his family. Joe's kindness radiates, he is always the first to step up and help someone in need. I consider myself incredibly lucky that Joe is my uncle; he has been a positive role model to me throughout my life.
Recently, Joe was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and he went through chemo and radiation in Michigan. Unfortunately, the cancer has come back.
After the cancer returned, Joe was told by doctors in Michigan that he was out of options. Thankfully, he was able to find a revolutionary new treatment at Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas.
Costs
This treatment is considered experimental and there are extraordinary costs associated with it. He is flying down to Houston weekly to receive treatment. When he travels, he needs someone to accompany him and help afterward. Traveling includes plane tickets, meals, hotels, and all costs associated with these weekly trips.

The GoFundMe is to raise money to support him and his family during this treatment. It will help defray the cost of the extensive traveling needed. All proceeds will go directly to the family to cover expenses related to treatment and traveling. Any money leftover after the treatment will be donated to The American Cancer Society to support others who are suffering through cancer.
