Joel's Badwater 135 Race Fund

My son, Joel Livesey is one of 96 people selected to run Badwater 135, also known as"The World's Toughest Foot Race."  This race will take place July 10-12 and will be run in extraordinary conditions, with temperatures that can reach well over 115 degrees.  Joel is an accomplished ultramaraton runner, being awarded the "California Triple Crown of Ultrarunning" in 2015.  He is an Athlete Ambassador at Diabetes Sports Project, iRun4Ultra and Fluid Sports Nutrition. What is so incredible is that Joel does this as a Type 1 Diabetic, so he actually runs two races.   The harder race by far is keeping his blood sugar in check!  Some of the funding for his race has fallen through, and I'm posting this so that those of you have expressed interest in helping out may do so.  Any amount is greatly appreciated!
