Joel's Medical Expense Fund

In 2015, our friend, Joel Barberree, was diagnosed with cancer, starting as colon cancer, moving to his lymph nodes and spreading throughout his body.  Joel has suffered through months of intense  chemotherapy and has been fighting hard to beat this awful disease.  His treatments have made him so ill that he's been unable to work and forced him to turn his landscaping business over to his son.

Being self-employed, Joel's insurance is through Melanie's employer, but insurance will not come close to covering all of his medical expenses.  With today's high deductibles and insurance only paying a portion of his treatments, medication and scans, it leaves thousands of dollars of "out-of-pocket" expenses.  This GoFundMe request is to help  pay medical bills.

To know Joel is to love him.  No one appreciates and loves his friends and family more than Joel.  He has always been the one that everyone depends on and the first to help a friend in need.   Now he needs our help ... please consider a donation.  No amount is too small and every dollar will be greatly appreciated.
