Joseph King was a lifelong educator who believed that every child deserves a great education. Mr. King, as he was called by young people, dedicated his career to students in underserved communities, especially in the South Bronx. Joseph shared his passion for education, helping others  with his wife, Stacey King. 

In honor of Joseph King, his career in education, and his partnership with students and families, the Joseph King Scholarship will continue to support graduating seniors from Bronx Leadership Academy where Joseph was a Global History teacher and the New Visions Charter HS for Advanced Math and Science II where Stacey was the founding Principal.
