As many of you know, on Tuesday, September 11th, 2018 Police Officer Joe Simone passed away. His sudden and unexpected death leaves a tremendous void within his family.
Over the the last few days the bravery his wife, two children, and immediate family have displayed is nothing short of extraordinary.
Whether you knew Joe for years, or only met him for mere minutes, he left a lasting impression. His laugh and smile could immediately fill a room.
Joe was everyone’s surrogate father. From personal advice to professional advice, and everything in between, he was the guy you went to.
It is no coincidence that he was taken from us on the anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center. He was a proud Police Officer, family man, and neighbor.
It is in times of tragedy when you see just how many people truly care about your loved one.
Its our turn now to show the Simone family how much we care about them.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked for small donations to help alleviate the expenses associated with the kids college tuition.
