Joe Grosso Recovery
Donation protected
On June 8th 2017, Joe Grosso was on his motorcycle on his way home from work when a semi truck pulled into his lane. Unable to avoid the truck, he hit the bumper and was flipped from his bike. An avid motorcyclist, Joe was wearing all appropriate gear including a helmet, but still sustained severe injuries due to the intensity of the crash. In the accident, his left femur was broken, causing his left leg to need repaired & reconstructed. His left foot was injured beyond repair and had to be amputated. His left hand is being repaired on June 26th. There are screws in his hips due to a broken pelvis and he will need to have hip replacement surgery down the road. Amidst the pain, the surgeries, and the frustration of a lengthy hospital stay, Joe has remained upbeat and determined to get better, a testament to the kind of person Joe is: when he sets his mind to something, he gets it done. Joe is a kind man who would do anything for anybody and now, we want to do something for him. To ease the strain of the costly hospital stay, procedures, and rehab, as well as the stress of being out of work, we want to raise $10,000 over the next two months. We are hopeful this money will help erase any financial worries and allow Joe & his family to focus completely on his recovery. Even a small amount would be greatly appreciated!
