Pupper Joe Biden, certified good boi, 12/10, has torn his CCL, and despite one surgical repair last summer, it still has not been put back together again.
Joe had what we now know is an unsuccessful extracapsular repair procedure on his left hind leg last summer. He's been tripod-ing around for several months despite my best efforts at home rehab and some physical therapy with the wonderful folks at Care First Animal Hospital. Today when we showed up for his therapy, he was doing worse than last Friday. Dr. Butler examined him again, and he was showing signs that the repair had failed.
My dude is in pain and cannot be his active, happy-go-lucky, squirrel and bird-chasing self. I am tapped out. I've spent over $5,000 in the last 13 months on Joe Biden and his late, great older sister, Shaka, may she rest in peace over the rainbow bridge. We would all appreciate your help in getting this surgery done. The fundraising goal is the middle of what I'm told these surgeries cost, and I will add an estimate once we get into see the surgeon.
