On January 14, 2018 my father, Joe Acosta, was sent to be with our Lord our savior. He was 53 years young and his passing was unexpected. My father served for his country in the U.S. Navy Forces.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wendsday January 17, 2018 at Sunset Funeral - Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr. with Rosary/ Vigil at 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be said at 9:45 a.m., Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe catholic Church, 2709 Alabama St.
A Committal Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 18, 2018 t Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
His lot and tombstone is taken care of by his military benefits. What we are needing help with is the cost of the actual funeral. We were able to get a really good deal for $3671.00 which includes the church mass, priest for rosary, casket, pick up from hospital and prepping his body, the police escort, prayer cards, guest sign in book, and limo service to and from church to Ft. Bliss cemetery ect...
