Jodi's Medical Expenses

My mom, Jodi, was recently diagnosed with having small cell lung cancer. The cancer has spread to her liver and to her brain. Her doctor recommends radiation and chemotherapy. By some act of God, she was approved for Medicaid, after being previously denied which was no fault of her own. Now I am trying to raise money to help her get around to her treatments. She lives an hour and a half outside of town and will have to come every day for her treatment. For now we are looking to get help getting her there and back, and possibly some overnights in motels when shes not up for a 3 hour round-trip drive.  I've done endless research on how to get assistance but I have not had any luck just yet. I intend to continue to look into programs that can assist but in the meantime help is needed and very much appreciated. My mother is not the type that would be willing to accept money like this but she needs and deserves it. If you are a close friend or family member please do not mention this campaign to her.
