My siser, JoDell Trotto lives in Fairmont, WV with her husband, Michael of 21 years, and they have a son who's a freshman at East Fairmont High School. She's been employed in her community since she was a teenager beginning as a food server in a restaurant working her way to a store manager. She's been employed in the banking community for almost two decades. JoDell has dedicated her life to her family.
She was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer this summer with a 9 1/2 cm mass on her lung. The cancer has metastasized to her lymph nodes, spine, femur, thyroid and brain. JoDell has had various tests and procedures and has had radiation therapy to help with the intense pain. Gamma Knife Radiation surgery was performed on her brain in August. She's now preparing for chemotherapy treatments to help reduce the size of the mass on her lung that is now putting pressure on her windpipe.
JoDell is a strong young woman and is so very thankful for all of your love and prayers. Now, it's time to reach out for contributions that will help to provide assistance with medical treatments, medications, and daily expenses that add up during regular hospital visits. She has been fortunate to be able to work from home due to the amazing support of her employer and colleagues. However, the expenses continue to rise due to this horrible disease, cancer.
