Joaquin's Medical Costs

On May 24th,2015 , Joaquin got into a car accident. The car he was in rolled several times causing the driver and him to fly out . They were emitted into the Intensive Care Unit. Unfortunately the driver passed away in the hospital however Joaquin survived. He suffered a traumatic brain injury and was in coma for almost 5 weeks. After a few weeks he was then transferred to another hospital located in Fresno where they take care of his needs (He is currently there ) . However after 2 years he has not received any further help besides his basic needs , being that said he has not received any sort of therapy. The little he knows was taught by his family . He can not speak or walk however he is aware of his surroundings and understands what is being spoken to him . From the first day of the Accident his family has not given up therefore they are willing to try a littler harder . They want to transfer him to a better hospital in Houston Texas called TIRR Memorial Herman where he will receive the therapy and help he needs. This Hospital has helped many patient like Joaquin who suffered traumatic injuries .He will hopefully be taught to speak , walk and eat for himself and even more importantly make up all those memories and important days he has missed with his family and his sweet daughter Leila . However the therapy he will receive will approximately be 3,600 dollars per day about 100,000 for four weeks . We all know family is the most important thing in this world , family means no one gets left behind or forgotten therefore please help us accomplish our goal , we want to see Joaquin back again , his daughter and family deserve it after two years of seeing him in bed .After years of living in California they are willing to leave everything they have an start a new life in Texas , just for Joaquin, . Whether you donate 1 dollar or 100 dollars anything is helpful , and although we might not reach our goal,honestly anything helps . El 24 de mayo de 2015, Joaquín se sufrio un accidente automovilístico. El coche en el que estaba rodó varias veces lo que hizo que el conductor y él volaran. Fueron emitidos en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos. Desafortunadamente el conductor falleció en el hospital sin embargo Joaquín sobrevivió. Sufrió una lesión cerebral traumática y estuvo en coma durante casi 5 semanas. Después de unas semanas fue trasladado a otro hospital ubicado en Fresno donde cuidan de sus necesidades (Él está actualmente allí). Sin embargo, después de 2 años no ha recibido ninguna otra ayuda además de sus necesidades básicas, . Lo poco que sabe fue enseñado por su familia. Él no puede hablar o caminar sin embargo es consciente de su entorno y entiende lo que se le está hablando. Desde el primer día del accidente su familia no ha renunciado por lo tanto están dispuestos a intentar un poco mas. Ellos quieren transferirlo lo a un mejor hospital en Houston Texas llamado TIRR Memorial Herman donde recibirá la terapia y ayuda que necesita. Este hospital ha ayudado a muchos pacientes como Joaquín que sufrieron lesiones traumáticas. Se espera que se le enseñe a hablar, caminar y comer por sí mismo y lo más importante aún estar con su familia y su dulce hija Leila. Sin embargo, la terapia que recibirá será aproximadamente 3,600 dólares por día alrededor de 100.000 durante cuatro semanas.
