Joanna Mohr Lost Everything

My family home since 1974 is completely burned to the ground in the September 8, 2020 Almeda wildfire. We lost everything. All our family heirlooms, all our life that cant be replaced.  We are grateful to be alive since we only had 10 minutes to evacuate.  Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. This affected me, Joanna Mohr and my partner of 19 years Michael Chavez. We have built a great life together and never imagined that our home would burn to the ground. My mom and I moved onto this property in 1974. I grew up, then moved to Portland- only to return in 2001 and then was my moms caregiver until she passed away in 2019. I am glad in one way she didn’t have to see her home turn to rubble.
