Joana & Leif Personal Emergency Fundraiser

Hello Everyone! 


My name is Susana Serna, and the reason for my fundraising is to help two of my dearest friends Joana and Leif. The unexpected event of “The CZU August Lightning Complex In Santa Cruz,” has left them without a home. The evacuation was so fast that they did not have the opportunity to pack their items, even their essential items such as medicine, paperwork, clothes, food, and other valuables. Thankfully they were able to take their pets with them. 

Joana and Leif are such loving people, who are always trying to give anyone a helping hand. They both have helped my family tremendously with my brother leukemia, and they have helped other people who are battling cancer too. Joana, being a cancer survivor herself, has left her with horrible side effects of her past intense chemotherapy. Joana needs her medicine and their home.

Mi nombre es Susana Serna y el motivo de mi recaudación de fondos es para ayudar a dos de mis amigos más queridos, Joana y Leif. Quienes el hecho inesperado del “Complejo CZU Augusto Lightning en Santa Cruz,” los ha dejado sin hogar. La evacuación fue muy rápida por lo que no tuvieron la oportunidad de empacar sus artículos, ni siquiera sus artículos esenciales como medicinas, papeleo, ropa, comida y otros valores. Afortunadamente, pudieron llevarse a sus mascotas con ellos.

Joana y Leif son personas tan cariñosas que siempre están tratando de ayudar a cualquiera. Ambos han ayudado enormemente a mi familia con la leucemia de mi hermano y han ayudado a otras personas que también están luchando contra el cáncer. Joana, sobreviviente de cáncer, la ha dejado con horribles efectos secundarios de la intensa quimioterapia. Joana necesita su medicina y su hogar.
