Joan Cornell Garden

Our dear friend Joan Cornell passed away on March 21, 2021. Joan was a dedicated volunteer at the Hardberger Park Children’s Vegetable garden where her positive attitude inspired us and her sense of humor brought us joy. We would like to remember and honor Joan by creating “Joan’s Garden.”
The garden will be added within the children’s garden at Hardberger. The centerpiece will be a redbud tree so each year when it blooms we will think of Joan. We will also include nectar plants to attract butterflies and bees and possibly a bench so a hot and tired garden volunteer can rest for a moment in the shade of the redbud tree.
Your contributions will help us build a small spot of beauty in memory of Joan. Thank you!
