Edgardo, is a good friend of mine, whom I met 13 years ago. Throughout the last decade, we had opportunies to spend a good amount of time together. I get to witness the guy going through good times and bad times. In short, there were many pleasant memories made and I'm grateful to have known this fella.
Edgardo met the love of his life eventually and they got married in 2011. Unfortunely, things didn't go as planned. Two years later, in 2013, he was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. From that point onward, as we can imagined, his life has changed drastically. His health condition deteroriates by day. Despite Edgardo had been a hardworker all his life, he no longer have the strength that he can bring to the table to perform, what's more meet the job expectations by any construction business requires, that is a fit physics to get things done.
Edgardo returned to his routine checkup during the first week of March 2017 as usual. Unexpectedly, he was scheduled for an emergency surgery (hostomia). The surgery went alright and he was hospitalized for 20 days. Since then, he is undergoing a new chemo treatment.
I truly want to help a friend in need. Currently, I offered Edgardo to crash my place, the basement, so that he could use his limited remaining savings for other priorities. I'm trying my best and doing what I can to help the poor guy but with limited resources, I can only do this much. I believe with collaborative effort, we can do a much better job to help effectively.
Edgardo deserves to focus on his treatment and healing completely; worry-not on other matters at this present time. With his current physical and economic condition, I want to give him a break. If you once know Edgardo (or not), I'm here asking for your help to ease this man's burden by a tiny bit.
If your situation allows, please make a small donation. 100% of the money raised will go to Edgardo directly. Let's together give this young 34 year old man a little helping hand during the critical time. Remember, no amount is ever too small, and every dollar counts!!!
