Hi, my name is Maria, and I never thought I’d be writing something like this. Recently, my home burned down in a fire. While I’m beyond grateful that my family and I made it out safely, including my pets—my cats Killua, Phineas, Bonita, Gusgus, and my dog Soju—we lost nearly everything else inside. Clothes, furniture, and so many memories are now gone.

Right now, we’re trying to figure out the basics all over again: a safe place to stay, food, clothes, and replacing essentials for both us and our pets. The funds raised will go toward these immediate needs and help us start rebuilding what we lost.

This has been one of the hardest times of my life, but knowing we still have each other keeps me going. Any help—whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this page—means more than words can say.

Ayuda en medio del dolor, nos dirigimos a ustedes para solicitar su apoyo urgente a una familia de nuestra comunidad que está atravesando un momento muy difícil. El pasado domingo, un incendio devastador destruyó las viviendas en las de Rosa Vista tráileres, en la ciudad de Santa Rosa, en la Avenida Santa Rosa. El fuego arrasó con todos sus bienes materiales y recuerdos de toda una vida.

Para ayudar a esta familia a levantarse nuevamente, hemos lanzado una campaña en GoFundMe. Afortunadamente, sus cuatro gatos están a salvo, pero su pequeño perro chihuahua perdió toda su comida, ropa, juguetes y cama.
