Playground Equipment

We have consulted with our students to find out what new facilities they would like to see in the outside area and have particularly considered what is available for our younger students and those with sensory needs. We have then worked with the Infinite Playgrounds company to develop an inspiring design.

 We would like to redevelop two distinct areas:

·      Early years area (2 – 7 years) – this will include a mud kitchen, canopy, waterplay area including a water stream and canopy, large sandpit and wheelchair accessible sandpit and outdoor chalkboard.

·      Sensory area (5 – 19 years) – this will include play hills incorporating a social slide, storytelling area including outdoor classroom, stump seating and story tellers chair, music area with various outdoor instruments, nature zone including wormery, bug hotel, seating and chalkboard, Sensory pathway including a sensory tunnel which is coloured, mirror tunnels and shadow boards.

 We are extremely keen to create an outstanding play space for all our students to enjoy.
