Last month my best friend Kristen Waycott-Murphy was diagnosed with breast cancer. With faith, love, and support we have watched loved ones overcome the challenges that cancer presents. Kristen is no different. She is such a strong person with an immeasurable amount of determination.
Kristen is facing surgery on Friday, April 13th - followed by radiation and chemotherapy treatments. More surgery and treatments may follow after more testing is done. She has a long battle ahead of her.
She needs to focus on healing and recovery and caring for her four wonderful children, not having to worry about financial strains. With medical co-payments, prescription costs, additional childcare during and after surgeries and treatments, and countless doctors apointments - she will need all of our help. She is out of work for an undetermined amount of time.
