Send Kate- Healing Haiti 2015

Isaiah 6:8 “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me.”

This verse has been heavy on my heart for as long as I can remember and in March 2015, I’m answering the Lord’s call, packing a bag and heading to Haiti.

I’m making the trip with Healing Haiti, an organization that works in Haiti providing clean water, housing, education, and an example of Christ to the poor and most vulnerable.

And now I’m asking y’all for support.

First, I’m asking for prayer as I prepare to serve and love the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere.

I’m asking for prayer for my heart, prayer for our team and prayer for Haiti.

Second, I’m asking for financial support. Although my bank account says ‘there’s no way can you afford this,’ every single day the Lord is reminding my anxious heart to trust Him. 

My heart longs to go and I know my God will provide.

Thank you for all of your support as I say ‘yes Lord, I’ll go’ and begin this adventure to Haiti!!
