Jared fund

As most of you have heard, my nephew Jared Lanzalotto was the victim of a brutal hit and run on July 9th and remains hospitalized.  He did make it through a few operations to help heal his multiple broken bones, but the trauma to his brain has left him paralyzed on his left side.  We are praying that this paralysis is temporary and that with the proper help and therapy, he can get back to where he was before the accident.  For this to even begin to happen he must go to Kessler for rehabilitation to begin the long road to recovery.  Unfortunately, Jared has no insurance.  He has been working with the Parks Department at the Borough of Cliffside Park for years but to his dismay, he was never hired on as a full time employee and therefore does not have any benefits.

Jared is also the caretaker for his mother Lori who has been suffering with Stage 4 kidney disease for some time now and frequently needs help to get out of the house to go to her dialysis appointments 3 times a week.  This is in addition to all the help and support he provides to her on a day to day basis, as well as all the financial assistance.  Needless to say my sister is distraught over his condition and visits him on the days she doesn't have dialysis.  While having to keep up her dialysis schedule, she is also trying to get Jared on Medicaid while researching if he may be eligible for some type of disability.  So far to no avail. 

I am trying to raise enough money to maybe pay for a few weeks of Kessler while she works on getting him Medicaid or some other help. That maybe too big of a goal I know, but I have to try.  At the very least, something to help pay for the many other expenses they may have.   I ask you to please give what you can to help them through this trying time. It would be appreciated more then you can imagine.
