We are trying to raise money for our mum, best friend, wife, sister, aunty, and dear friend.
For those of you who don't know mum has been fighting stage 4 squamous lung cancer since February.
The biggest dream we have is we want mum to be well enough to fulfill her dream to go on a cruise with family and friends and spend quality time with the ones she loves when she turns 60 (in March 2018). There are a lot of expenses for various medications, treatment, special furniture that keeps her comfortable and many other general expenses. Her husband Steve is still working everyday to gain as much leave as he can for her when the time comes that he needs more time off. Ultimately we would like to raise enough money for Steve to be able to sit by her bedside everyday to support her and be there with her instead of worrying about working and paying bills. Most of our family are from Melbourne and are frequently flying up to visit and support her but Steve is her main support system in Cairns.
A lot of friends and family have been asking how they can help, therefore we have created this page as a platform for anyone to offer some assistance if you wish to do so.
