James A. Studer, Age 56, passed away June 15th, 2018 at 5:47pm after his 3 year battle with Colon Cancer.
He was born in Burley, Idaho October of 1961 to Jannet and Art Studer. He was a graduate of Twin Falls High School class of 1980. He also attended CSI and BYU with a study in Computer Science. He Married Marylynn (Solomon) Studer, in the Logan LDS Temple, on July 23rd, 1985. They were blessed with 4 children and 4 grandchildren. James was the founder of Prism Nutrition and AZ Co Packing. He was an active member of his church and proud Eagle Scout. James enjoyed high adventures, wood working, entrepreneurship and spending time with his family. He is survived by his Wife, Marylynn, Daughter’s Jenae, Jessica, Son in Law: Cody, Sons Gentry, Chris and Adopted Son Bryan his wife Katie and family. Grandchildren: Kaiya, Jaelynn, Madelynn and Miles. Mother Jannett, Sisters Patricia, Ruth, Toni and Brother Rodger.
Family, Loved Ones and Friends whose lives were touched by James are invited to attend the Memorial service at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located on 10725 E Point Twenty-Two Blvd, Mesa, AZ 85212, June 23rd beginning at 10:00 am with a meet in greet in lieu of a viewing, services will be begin at 11:00 am.

Jim Studer is one of those rare characters that comes around once in a lifetime. The one who, when you think back to your childhood or past experience, was the one to always be helping, welcoming, giving, and making you laugh. In 2015, Jim was diagnosed with colon cancer. A resection of the colon was completed shortly after and thought to be successful. In 2016, we found that the cancer had spread to his liver resulting in removal of 2/3rd's of the organ after which he underwent radiation. He has since been undergoing chemo treatments every 2 weeks. In 2017, doctors found multiple lesions in his lungs.
While at work one day in February, 2018, Jim suddenly lost vision in his left eye. He called his wife who immediately rushed him into the ER. From there we learned that Jim had a brain bleed resulting from two tumors in his brain. For the love of his family, Jim will now be undergoing radiation to a partial side of the brain, with hopes the two tumors will shrink and he can continue with chemo.
Through this battle with cancer, Jim's family has amassed tens of thousands of dollars in medical bills. Jim has been married to his sweetheart, Marylynn for 33 years and has 4 children and 5 grandchildren, the youngest of which is 6 months old.
