Jim's COVID Recovery Fund and Medical Bill Help

Hello, I created this fundraiser to help my good friend, Becky Scherf. She is the first to help out others in need and this time she needs our help.
On December 21st, her dad, Jim Dalton, was rushed to the emergency room by ambulance because he was experiencing shortness of breath. It was determined that he was positive for COVID-19, but that became the least of their worries.
Almost immediately, Jim went into cardiac arrest and was placed on life saving machines in order to be transferred down to the University of Minnesota Medical Center. Once at UMMC, he was placed on a ventilator and hooked up to ECMO, one of the strongest forms of life support. This helped support his heart and lungs.
He was on ECMO for about two weeks and was recovering enough that he no longer needed that support. Jim has been on the ventilator for about 30 days and has just recently been able to be taken off of that.
He is slowly recovering, but with each step forward, there has been also two steps back. Jim has experienced kidney issues, a blood infection, and pneumonia. He has a hard road ahead, but has a loving family and hundreds of friends to support him along the way.
JD is a beloved member of the Superior, WI community and had planned to run for Superior North End City Council. He has owned JD's Electric for almost 19 years, and this is his family's main source of income.
He is still currently hospitalized and as long as he continues to improve he will be transferred to a rehab facility that can help him rehabilitate after being in an induced coma for over a month.
On behalf of Becky, I am asking that you please donate if able to help offset the cost of medical bills and to provide financial stability to Jim as he recovers.
