Jim Ritcheson's Medical Fund
Donation protected
Jim Ritcheson was diagnosed with lung cancer in January 2014. After month’s aggressive chemotherapy and radiation, in August 2014 the cancer was gone. He was in remission until January 2015, when he found out the cancer was back.
Jim is not a candidate for chemotherapy this time. On Thursday March 12th, he will begin a new treatment called Opdivo, which was approved by the FDA last week.
Jim is currently receiving short term disability at work, but will end soon. The decrease of income barely covers the cost of his health insurance.
Jim and Dana Ritcheson are both from Southern Illinois and are well known for being actively involved in the community. They have two sons, Jamie and Joey; both Sergeants in the United States Marine Corps. Jim and Dana have become surrogate parents to many of Jamie and Joey's friends, and have always been there when anyone has needed someone to talk to.
Both Jim and Dana are the definition of small town hospitality and would gladly give the shirt off their back, if it meant helping someone in need. It's time to return the favor.
Please make a donation, and help relieve some of the financial burden these wonderful people have on their shoulders!
Thank you!
