Jimmy Huntley's Medical Fund

As most of you know, Jimmy Huntley was diagnosed with Non-Alcoholic Cirrhosis of the Liver in 2016 and placed on the transplant list in January of 2017.  If you have been around Jimmy for any length of time, you know he has a way of making anyone smile and laugh.  Whether you met him at a middle school dance, had him DJ your wedding, or have known him for years, he has made some kind of impact in your life.  

I met Jimmy over 20 years ago when I became best friends with his daughter Amanda.  He became like a second dad to me.  When I heard about his illness, it broke my heart.  Anyone who knows Jimmy and Kim, knows they would never ask for help! 

Since his diagnosis, Jimmy has battled Shingles, severe edema, jaundice, lack of appetite and energy, etc.  For the past year, Jimmy has continued to work to support his family.  However, roughly two weeks ago, he was no longer able to do so. 

That’s why, I believe it is our duty as his family, friends and community to come together and support this family.  In the next several months, the financial strain will begin to take its toll.  Without Jimmy’s income, it will be nearly impossible for Kim to do it on her own.  Kim needs the peace of mind knowing that household bills can be paid, along with the medical bills that are sure to accrue.

Family and friends are working to plan a benefit dinner for the Huntleys on November 4, 2017.  In the mean time, I am asking you to help in any way that you can.  No amount is too small.  Every penny will go directly to Jimmy and Kim.  If you are unable to donate, we gladly welcome your prayers.
