Jimmy Hettinga’s fight with Lyme

Jimmy has been battling Lyme disease for the last 15 years, but didn’t know it. He was finally diagnosed 1 year ago. Jimmy has fought debilitating fatigue and horrific chronic headaches/migraines and pain all over his body. At times he has felt hopelessness and a general feeling that he was dying. Before being diagnosed, he bounced from Dr. to Dr. and treatment to treatment. Sometimes dealing with those who didn’t believe him. He has finally found a treatment to CURE his disease and give him his quality of life back. However, the treatment is not in the US and he is having to travel to Germany to the St. George Medical Clinic there. Jimmy will have to be there for 6 weeks.
We are raising money for the treatment itself and the extended stay for him and his wonderful wife, Gina. Also, to take care of the expenses at home and for a few months after he gets back, because they say it will take a year to get back to work.
Jimmy and Gina have always been the first to give to those in need, and are now in need of our help!!
