"Please, help me stay in Corrales."

This April finds me in need of asking for assistance from friends and family. Unexpected circumstances of loss of income and an expensive hospital stay have completely drained my financial resources and I am at risk for losing my small rental home in Corrales.

In early March I acquired a difficult virus posing as a manageable flu. Within four days, a trip to Urgent Care got me x-rayed and diagnosed with bilateral pneumonia and at serious risk for sepsis. The team at Urgent Care insisted I be admitted directly to the hospital. That was my first ambulance transport to my first hospital stay. I remained in hospital for three nights and out from work for three weeks.

Unfortunately, the day I returned to work, I was let go from my job and I've recently learned that I will not be receiving unemployment benefits. As my friends know, for the last year I've been living from paycheck to paycheck. My resources are drained.

At this time, I am recovering nicely from the illness and putting together interviews for a new job with greater benefits. The expectation is to have a job confirmed within the next few weeks. In the meantime, I'm asking for help in the amount of $3,500 to cover living expenses over the next few months including rent, utilities, food, gas, and of course the kibble for the the kids.

Employment leads from my social worker and therapist friends appreciated through email or messenger.
